Welcome to the website of the Tampa Bay House Rabbit Society.
The current economy is presenting challenges in all forms and the result is an enormous amount of "dump" calls. These are calls from people who cannot or will not take care of their rabbits. Due to the volume of calls, there is no guarantee that a "dump" call will be returned. Instead, there is a form on the Adoption & Rescue page to get rabbits listed on Petfinder.
We do not take rabbits from the public under any circumstances. Our rescue space is reserved for shelter rabbits about to be euthanized. Due to the economy, we have no space for rescues.
We refer all medical calls to veterinarians and wildlife rehabbers. More information can be found on the Veterinary Care page.
